At ProNeuro Health Brain and Wellness Center, we improve cognitive function as well as assess and identity giftedness and learning gaps. Our cognitive training includes academic help with any content area subject. One overwhelming area of need tends to be in mathematics. Our cognitive therapists will initially assess and identify mathematical achievement gaps which clearly explain why math is challenging to the client.
After the assessment, we use cognitive training sensory integrated mathematics sessions to not only help with learning gaps and current assignments, but also expand gifted clients. Many clients who cannot remember math facts or understand new mathematical equations usually have an auditory processing deficit. While other clients desire acceleration to advance in school via a grade level, a gifted program, or success on the SAT.
Beyond the medical symptoms and conditions which have hindered academic achievement, some students simply have a difficult time learning any and all components of academics. Our cognitive program will ensure a multi-sensory approach to learning.
